I created The Black Laughter Collective as a safe space for laughter, play through improv, and creative release for Black women, including trans women. We deserve a place for us by us to lay our burdens down, breathe deeply, laugh loudly, and play freely. Through our interactive improv and community comedy experiences, joy becomes a practice in self-care.
